Commonly known as EQ or Equipoise, Boldenone Undecyclenate is a steroid that has been developed by the CIBA in order to form injectable dianabol that is used by veterinarians. Designed to be used in the cattle and horse industry, the drug can be injected once every 6 weeks and comes as an oil suspension. One of the more common side effects of the drug are acne on the back, shoulder and chest areas of the patient. On paper, boldenone is similar to dianabol with only one major change. Dianabol contains 17AA and has a shelf life of 8 hours and is consumed orally whiel Equipoise does not have the 17AA group and consists of a long undecylenate attached ester chain. Boldenone is thus highly soluble in oil due to thus ester chain and has the consistency of syrup prior to being suspended in oil.
The ester chain within the boldenone hormone is cleaved off eventually by enzymes within the liver, setting it free so as to allow it to interact with various androgen receptors present within the muscle cells. Like any other steroid, Equipoise has side effects, but these are quite mild compared to other drugs. The various side effects that may be caused due to the drug include unusual hair loss, unnatural hair growth, acne, deepening of voice, unnatural hair growth, etc. The main problem with equipoise is that is causes acne in the shoulder, chest and back areas of the body. Thus, in case the patient is prone to acne, they must use anti-acne lotion and soap on a regular basis.
Another one of the side effects that may occur is the increase in appetite that has been been reported by many users who complain of incessant cravings and hunger pangs. It is recommended to start using a lower dose of EQ if the user experiences appetite problems.
